RECIPE - Healthy Frozen Yogurt
Are you as excited as we are about summer's return?
Let's give ourselves a little taste of summer today with a protein frozen yogurt recipe! 🍨🍦
Frozen yogurt provides the benefits of lower lactose and good bacteria. The best way to maximize this frozen dessert is to make it homemade! That way you also control the amount and type of sugar added. We try to avoid processed sugars and favor natural sugars instead.
- Put tasty fresh fruit (raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, etc.) in the freezer or use frozen fruit directly.
- In a food processor, blend bananas and 0%MG yogurt.
- In a large bowl, place the yogurt and banana mixture and the fruit of your choice. Add supplements such as protein powder or even a fiber powder with pro and pre biotics. Variation: Add some 70%+ dark chocolate chips.
- Put in the freezer - on average, 30 minutes should be enough.
